1. About Gathric

Gathric is an online marketplace that connects customers planning events with independent event professionals such as DJs, singers, tent houses, transport providers, photographers, decorators and caterers. Gathric is not a party to the agreement between a customer and a professional, and does not itself provide event services.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.
• One account may own several professional profiles; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or harm other users.

3. Enquiries, quotations and bookings

• Enquiries are free and do not create any obligation for either side.
• A quotation is an offer from the professional, valid until the date shown on it.
• When a customer accepts a quotation, a booking is created and the date is blocked in the professional's calendar.
• Payment terms, advances and cancellation policies are set by each professional and shown on their profile and quotation.

4. Professional listings

Professionals must only list services they are legally permitted to provide, use photos and videos they own or are licensed to use, keep prices and availability up to date, and honour accepted bookings. Profiles are reviewed before publication and may be edited, hidden or removed if they are misleading.

5. Reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fake, or unrelated to the service. Professionals may publicly respond to reviews.

6. Liability

While we verify profiles and work hard to keep the marketplace safe, the services are delivered by independent professionals. To the extent permitted by law, Gathric is not liable for the quality, timing or outcome of services agreed between users.
