What you can do
Gathric is a marketplace for event services in India. Customers find and book trusted event professionals; professionals get a free listing plus simple tools to manage enquiries, quotations, bookings, payments and invoices.

- Check availability on a live calendar before you enquire.
- Enquire once with your event details — it's free.
- Receive quotations with every charge itemised, then accept online.

The booking journey, step by step
- Step 1: Search for the service you need in your city (for example “DJ in Ahmedabad”).
- Step 2: Open a profile to see photos, videos, services, packages, reviews and the availability calendar.
- Step 3: Send an enquiry with your event date, venue, guests and budget.
- Step 4: Get a quotation from the professional, itemised with taxes, advance and terms.
- Step 5: Accept the quotation — your booking is confirmed straight away and the date is reserved for you.
- Step 6: Pay the professional directly (cash, UPI, bank transfer, etc.) and receive an invoice or receipt.
- Step 7: Celebrate, then leave a review to help other families.
One account, two roles
Every account can book services as a customer. If you also provide a service, you can create one or more professional profiles from the same account — there's no separate sign-up. See Become a professional.
Frequently asked questions
Is Gathric free for customers?
Yes. Searching, enquiring and receiving quotations is free. You pay the professional directly for the service you book.
Does Gathric take payments?
Not at the moment. Payments are made directly to the professional (cash, UPI, bank transfer, cheque or card) and the professional records them so both of you can track what's paid.
