The availability calendar
Profiles of Premium members show a live calendar covering the coming months. Each date is colour-coded:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | Free to book |
| Hold | Tentatively reserved by the professional — enquire, it may still be possible |
| Booked | Fully booked for that day |
| Unavailable | Not working that day (or the date has passed) |
Check a specific date
- Step 1: Tap a date on the calendar (or set your event date in search).
- Step 2: You'll see whether it's available and the price for that date.
- Step 3: Tap Send enquiry — the date is filled in for you.
Why do prices change by date?
Popular dates — wedding season, festivals, weekends — can cost more, and quieter dates may be discounted. This is called demand pricing. When a date has a different price, the calendar shows the adjusted amount and a label such as Peak or Discount.
Frequently asked questions
The calendar showed available, but my booking was refused.
Someone else may have booked the same date moments before you. Dates are reserved the instant a booking is confirmed, so two people can never book the same slot.
Does sending an enquiry reserve the date?
No. Enquiries and quotations don't block dates — only a confirmed booking does. Accept your quotation quickly for popular dates.
