What's in a quotation
| Part | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Event details | Date, time, venue, guests, event type |
| Line items | Each service, package or item with quantity and price |
| Subtotal | Sum of the line items |
| Discount | Amount taken off |
| Additional / travel charges | Extra costs such as transport |
| Tax | GST or other tax at the stated percentage |
| Total | What you'll pay in all |
| Advance | Amount payable upfront to confirm |
| Balance | Total minus advance |
| Valid until | Last date you can accept |
| Terms | Payment terms, cancellation policy and notes |
How it's calculated: Subtotal − Discount + Additional charges + Travel charges = Taxable amount, then tax is added to get the Total.
