Create a quotation
Build an itemised quotation with services, packages, inventory, discount, charges, tax, advance and terms.
Start a quotation
- From a lead: open it and click Create quotation — customer and event details are filled in.
- Or go to Quotations → New quotation and enter the customer's details yourself.
Build it
- Step 1: Check the event details: date, time, venue, guests, event type, city.
- Step 2: Add line items — pick from your services, packages or inventory, or type a custom item. Set quantity and unit price.
- Step 3: Add a discount, additional charges and travel charges if needed.
- Step 4: Set the tax % (defaults to 18%; allowed 0–28%).
- Step 5: Enter the advance you want upfront.
- Step 6: Choose Valid until — the last date the customer can accept.
- Step 7: Add payment terms, cancellation policy, notes and terms.
- Step 8: Save. The quotation is a Draft until you send it.
Totals update as you type: Subtotal − Discount + Charges = Taxable, + Tax = Total, Total − Advance = Balance.
Editing
You can edit a quotation until it's accepted, rejected, cancelled or expired. Editing returns it to Draft — send it again so the customer sees the new version.
