Customer responses, offline acceptance and expiry
What happens when a customer accepts, declines or asks for changes — and how to record a decision they gave you by phone.
Quotation statuses

|---|---|
| Draft | Not sent yet |
| Sent | Delivered to the customer |
| Viewed | The customer opened it |
| Changes requested | The customer wants something changed — read their note |
| Accepted | A confirmed booking was created automatically |

| Expired | Not accepted before Valid until |
| Cancelled | You withdrew it |
When changes are requested
Open the quotation, click Edit, make the changes and Send it again.
Record a response given offline
If the customer said yes or no on the phone or in person, open the quotation and, under Customer replied offline?, click Accepted or Declined and add their comment. Accepting creates the booking just as if the customer had clicked Accept.
Cancelling and expiry
- Click Cancel quotation to withdraw a quotation that hasn't been accepted. Any public link stops working.
- Quotations expire automatically after their Valid until date. Create a new one if the customer is still interested.
